Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who is skilled in surveillance and loss prevention, with the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
Operate and maintain CCTV systems to monitor activities and identify potential security threats.
Conduct regular inspections of the premises, checking for any signs of intrusion or hazards.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
Enforce company policies and procedures regarding safety and security.
Assist in the prevention of theft and loss by implementing effective loss prevention strategies.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a security role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and equipment, particularly CCTV systems.
First aid certification is advantageous; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
