The Soft Services Pricing Analyst will play a pivotal role in collaborative bid teams, developing winning solutions that meet client requirements while delivering profitable, long-term cash flows through contract retention, extensions, and new wins.
Focusing specifically on costing, financial modelling, commercial review, and risk/opportunity analysis, the Pricing Analyst will be a key member of the bid team from the outset of a bid through to contract close.
The role will involve working closely with the Solutions Director during all bid stages - Bid/No Bid, Bid Planning, Solution Development, Costing/Pricing, Submission, and Post-Submission/Negotiation.
Job Description
The Soft Services Pricing Analyst will also liaise with Bid Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and wider business functions such as Operations, Procurement, Legal, Insurance, and People & Culture.
A critical requirement will be reviewing bid documents to identify pricing requirements, data gaps, and contractual issues that may affect the overall bid. This analysis will inform the pricing strategy, client clarifications, and identification of risks and opportunities.
The analyst will take ownership of cost and pricing information for soft services bids, ensuring all costs are included, submissions are accurate, and solutions are both competitive and deliverable.
Drawing on internal and external data for bench-marking, the analyst will apply innovative methods to produce costings that strengthen the organisation’s market position.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all pricing and commercial risk aspects of soft services bids.
Take full ownership and accountability for the accuracy of all pricing submissions.
Promote a commercially competitive approach across all bidding activities to ensure strong market positioning.

Act as the single point of contact for costing models, collaborating with suppliers, procurement, and operational teams.
Apply different pricing approaches (top-down and bottom-up) to support the overall bid solution.
Act as a conduit to wider business functions including Operations, Insurance, Legal, and People & Culture.
Serve as the focal point for all financial aspects of the bid, ensuring compliance with governance and finance policies.

Proven experience in successful estimating within Facilities Management (specifically soft services) or a comparable industry.
Demonstrated experience in data analysis and financial modelling, with a track record of accurate costings and supporting winning bids.

Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong team player, able to collaborate across all levels and disciplines to develop winning solutions.
