Summary

PE Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship
£7.55 per hour
Temp (12-15 months)
35 hours per week, term time only + 5 TED days
Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification


Woodfield Academy is currently seeking a PE Teaching Assistant Apprentice to work as part of the PE Department in providing support services to students. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about physical education and working with young people.

As an apprentice, you will:

- Support individual and group learning in the classes under the guidance and instruction of the teacher
- Assist in preparing resources to aid student learning, under the guidance of colleagues
- Assist the PE Department in delivering enrichment/extra-curricular activities
- To play a positive role in the life of the school community

What skills and experience we're looking for:
- Enthusiastic, committed to the work involved and completing the apprenticeship qualification
- Holds GCSE Maths & English - Grade 5 or above
- Holds Sports Studies or PE GCSE qualification
- Good standard of spoken and written English
- Educated to at least good GCSE standard Good IT & keyboard skills
- Good verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all students
- Reliable
- Punctual
