Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Multi-Drop Van Driver to join our team based in Witham St Hughs, Lincoln. This role involves operating a 3.5 tonne tail-lift van, performing up to 6 drops per day to various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 3.5 tonne van with a tail lift
- Complete up to 6 deliveries per day to designated locations
- Load and unload goods using the tail lift where required
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of items
- Maintain delivery documentation and logs
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any issues
- Provide excellent customer service at each drop-off point
Minimum age: 23 years old (for insurance purposes)
Must hold a full UK driving licence (Category B)
- Maximum of 6 penalty points on licence – minor driving offences only.
- Previous commercial driving experience is essential.
- Experience operating a tail lift on a 3.5 tonne van.
- Good understanding of multi-drop delivery procedures.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual handling tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and attitude.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good geographical knowledge of Lincoln and surrounding areas.
Long term ongoing role
Monday - Friday
0600 - 0800 start times
8 - 10 hour shifts
£13.25 p/h basic wages
Overtime paid at time and a half
Weekly pay.
