About the role:

We are looking for a well-qualified, passionate and committed History teacher, who values continuing professional development, to join our highly successful and innovative Humanities faculty. This is a superb opportunity to be part of a team who consistently deliver a quality of education which is outstanding.

History is led by a highly experienced and successful Head of Faculty and is taught in five classrooms which are adjacent to each other. They have direct access to a suite of thirty computers which are for the sole use of the Humanities subjects. Take up at KS4 and KS5 is extremely high. History is one of the most popular options at both key stages. The successful candidate will be accountable for the standards reached by all students throughout Years 7-9, including those who have high prior attainment, SEND and the disadvantaged. They will also teach History up to and including G.C.S.E. A level teaching may also be available.
