What skills and experience we're looking for
Hednesford Valley High School is looking to appoint a Senior Behaviour Support to join our motivated pastoral team at Hednesford Valley High School. This role involves working with students, staff, families and professionals to support good behaviour in the school
This post will require excellent communication skills to work with a wide range of SEN students. You need to be able to use ICT skills to monitor and log information and produce analysis reports to present to the Senior Leadership Team. To work with a range of staff to develop strategies to support students to change their behaviour. We require a positive person to work with students in school, leading the Student Voice in the Leadership Team, and working with Prefects.
We require a flexible and creative individual who:-
• Has very good numeracy/literacy skills equivalent to GCSE C and above.
• Has NVQ Level 3 or recognized equivalent qualification.
• Has excellent communication skills with students, parents/carers and professions.
• Good ICT skills.
• Has a passionate commitment to raising the attainment of all students in a special school.
• A team player who is able to work collaboratively with others.
• This role may require you to work across the school/sites with other student groups if required.
