What We Need From You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has paid experience in a school setting, working with children who have additional / special educational needs.

• Is patient, calm, caring, and able to build trusting relationships with children, families, and staff.

• Has good communication skills and the ability to follow and adapt plans and strategies in collaboration with the teacher / SENCo.

• Is reliable, proactive, flexible, and committed to inclusion.

• Holds, ideally, relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning, or equivalent) or GCSEs or equivalents in English & Maths (or willing to work towards them, if required).

Further details about the role

To support children in Nursery with additional needs: helping with routines, learning activities, social skills, and ensuring every child feels secure and supported.
