Summary

Purchase Ledger Clerk (Temporary)

About the Role:


Search are seeking a skilled and reliable Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team in Bradford on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a well-established organisation and support the smooth running of the purchase ledger function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process supplier invoices and credit notes
  • Match purchase orders and delivery notes to invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Prepare and process payment runs
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • A proactive and reliable approach to work
