Job Overview:Bay Primary School is looking to appointment two caring, supportive and dedicated classroom based Achievement Support Assistants.Contract and Salary Details:Hours : 30 hours per week, term time only (190 days)Salary: Grade 4, scp 5 - 7 £17,438 - £17,997 actual salary per annumJob Requirements:The successful candidates will:Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needsPromote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with school procedures encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviourSupport the academic, social, emotional and development of individuals and groups of pupils understanding clearly how pupils learnProvide effective support to maximise attainment and accelerate the progress of individuals and groups of pupilsAssist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes when necessaryProvide feedback to pupils in relation to progress towards academic, social, behavioural and learning skillsLiaise closely with appropriate staff in relation to safeguarding, behaviour, SEND needs and wellbeing issuesProvide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on pupils’ attainment, progress, behaviour and attitudes to learningFurther information regarding the posts can be found in the job description and person specification.Why choose Bay?
