At Sodexo, we’re looking for a dedicatedFood Service Assistant tojoin our team.In this role, you’ll prepare and serve a variety of foodand beverages to both site-based and external customers, ensuring everyinteraction meets our high standards.All tasks must be carried out inline with company policies, procedures, and food safety practices, helping usdeliver a consistent and quality service every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to required standards while delivering professional customer service
- Follow role specifications, dress code, and uniform policies across all catering areas
- Operate the cashless till system and support stock management, including vending machine filling and cash counting
- Assist in all areas of the catering operation as directed by line management
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, food safety, marketing, and merchandising requirements
- Attend team meetings, complete required training, and actively contribute to ongoing development

- You’ll be confident in preparing and serving food and beverages to a high standard
- You’ll have an understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety practices
- You’ll be happy to follow company policies, procedures, and uniform standards
- You’ll be flexible and willing to support different areas of the catering operation as needed
- You’ll be a reliable team player who is organised and eager to learn
