To start as soon as possible:

The Head and Governing Body of the successful, caring and friendly Welsh medium school above is looking for a reliable and efficient, welcoming and organized school clerk/FLO to run the school's busy office and to interact with our school community. Staff want a colleague who is enthusiastic, motivated and caring to join the school team and support the school's daily work efficiently. The school is looking to appoint a full-time, permanent role. The ability to speak Welsh is extremely desirable.

The successful candidate will:
● take a lead role in the development and maintenance of records / information systems including SIMS, Plasc
● carry out general day-to-day procedures;
● assist in developing positive relationships with the parents;
● management of computerised and manual records/information systems;
● undertake complex financial administration procedures;
● contact parents and carers regarding lunch money balances and any relevant welfare issues.
● Represent the school and coordinate information and reports relating to Safeguarding by attending CP conferences and core groups, ensuring that reports are submitted promptly and provide relevant information.
● Work to identify hard-to-reach families and those who disengage from the education system or are disadvantaged due to poverty including in key transition periods
● Hold meetings with partners to integrate methods across organizational boundaries and to support partners, to improve engagement and outcomes for families.
● Representing schools as part of the partnership approach and maintain an accurate picture of families' progress as a central point of contact that liaises with dedicated agencies and officers who engage with families.
● Work with partners to identify the effects of the interventions received on families/individual young people by developing shared impact measures.
● Provide support in coordinating, monitoring and evaluating any projects established to support the pastoral needs of pupils in the school.

● can demonstrate excellent ICT, literacy and numeracy skills;
● knowledgeable about the processes of the school system;
● can show a high level of personal initiative;
● reliable and professional.

● be able to communicate effectively with parents and families, partner agencies, professionals and staff at all levels.
● be able to assess the needs of children and their families and work with other agencies to draw up support packages
