The recruitment team at University Hospitals Southampton (UHS) are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, motivated, and patient-centred Skull Base and Pituitary Consultant Surgeon to join our expanding and dynamic Neurosciences team. This is a key role within a forward-thinking department, ideal for a surgeon with a passion for complex cranial surgery and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Specific remit for the delivery of adult Neurosurgery, elective and emergency.
You will be a core member of the Pituitary and Skull Base subspecialities but further would be expected to take a lead role in innovation and teaching and training.
The postholder would also be expected to contribute to raising the profile of the unit through publications, presentations and digital media
All consultant roles are supported with comprehensive CPD opportunities, mentorship, and access to cutting-edge facilities. Flexible working arrangements, including a mixture of on-site and remote activity where appropriate, can be discussed as part of the interview process. UHS employees also benefit from a range of NHS discounts, a minimum of 35 days paid holiday (pro rata), and membership of the NHS pension scheme.
