Summary
The Trust supports the requirements of CPD as recommended by the RCP and is committed to providing time and support for this. Study leave and financial support are available (currently £700 per year). The postholder will be expected to take part in local and appropriate national audits. The Trust runs regular audit presentations and an annual audit day where audits can besubmitted for awards. Office space, computer access and secretarial support will be provided. The department currently has 4 secretaries. Letter typing is outsourced to allow secretaries more time to deal with clinical queries. Office space and secretarial support are a shared resource.
