Summary
The Best Connection are currently seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter to join our client, based in Stockport Central growing team.
- Monday to Friday 0700- 1500 - 39hr week
- £14.00 per hour
This will be a 12 week temp to perm position for the right person. The company offer amazing career progression and remuneration packages once a permanent employee.
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be responsible for setting and operating Amada press brake machines, ensuring the accurate production of precision sheet metal components to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Amada press brake machinery.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform quality checks using measuring tools such as verniers, calipers, and gauges.
- Adjust machine settings to optimise production and maintain tolerances.
- Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
