Summary
Passive Fire Stopper – Canterbury, Kent
Salary: Circa £45,000 per annum (DOE)

We’re hiring a Passive Fire Stopper to join our growing team at RGE Services. You’ll work on social housing and commercial properties, delivering high-quality passive fire protection services.
What you’ll do:
- Install passive fire stopping to fire doors (ablative batts, mastic seals, etc.)
- Read site plans & ensure compliance with FIRAS standards
- Keep supervisors updated and maintain high standards of safety & quality
What you need:
- UK Driving Licence
- 1+ year of experience in Passive Fire Stopping
- Sound knowledge of tools, equipment & materials
- NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection & FIRAS card (preferred but not required)
- Good communication skills & customer-focused approach
What we offer:
- £35,000 – £45,000 DOE (PAYE)
- 23 days holiday (rising to 25), pension, buy/sell holiday scheme

- Paid overtime: time-and-a-half evenings/Saturdays, double time nights/Sundays/bank holidays
- £100 standby + £80–£120 per callout

Schedule: Monday – Friday 08:00–17:00 (1-hour lunch break)
