Full job description
Montracon is one of the leading trailer manufacturers serving the UK, Ireland and export markets and offers high quality, diverse product portfolio. We are now looking for Auto Electricians on a permanent basis to work at our Factory in Doncaster.

Responsibilities:

· Wiring of internal and external lights to trailers

· Install, inspect, and maintain vehicle electrical systems

· Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, grinders, crimping devices, and heat shrink guns

· Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot faults

· Splicing wires together, where required

· Testing lights to ensure safe working order

· Work in accordance with Company operating procedures and guidelines

· Read and assess production information for required specification details, working in an organised manner to ensure the task is completed efficiently, to the correct standard and within the necessary time frame

· Conduct basic quality control checks within your remit

· Ensure the safe operation of machinery within the area of responsibility

Experience:

· Auto–electrical experience within the commercial vehicle industry or similar is desired

· Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team and across departments

· Good manual dexterity

Working Hours:

· 40 hours per week - 10 Hour Shifts - Monday to Thursday 6.00 am to 4:30 pm

· Overtime available
