Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Wirral, supporting pupils in Key Stage 2. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education to work closely with the class teacher, helping children develop confidence and achieve their full potential across the KS2 curriculum.
Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning across the KS2 curriculum.
Deliver small group interventions and provide 1:1 support where needed.
Assist with literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum subjects.
Encourage independent learning, positive behaviour, and classroom engagement.
Work collaboratively with class teachers and other support staff.
Requirements
Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting (desirable).
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
A genuine passion for supporting childrens learning and development.
