Long Term Futures are looking for a dedicated Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to support pupils with communication and language needs across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will work closely with the SENCo and class teachers to deliver both 1:1 and small-group interventions, focusing on supporting pupils with speech, language and communication difficulties, helping children develop expressive and receptive language skills, implementing strategies from Speech and Language Therapists, supporting social interaction and building pupil confidence, and adapting classroom activities to meet individual needs. This role would suit someone with a background in psychology, speech and language, SEN support, or child development who is keen to make a real difference.
