Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit an EYFS Specialist Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in the Knowsley area.
Position Details:
- Location: Knowsley
- Role: EYFS Specialist Teaching Assistant
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing, full-time
- Contract type: Temporary (with potential for long-term opportunities)
Responsibilities:
- Supporting children within the EYFS setting, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Assisting with classroom activities and the delivery of the EYFS curriculum
- Promoting a positive learning environment and encouraging pupil engagement
- Working closely with the class teacher and SEN staff to meet pupils' individual needs
- Supporting with assessments, observations and maintaining pupil records
Requirements:
- Experience working within an EYFS setting is essential
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) preferred
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- A valid, enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
