Summary
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is excited to welcome a friendly and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Bispham Campus. In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of campus life, helping to create a positive and enjoyable experience for our students, staff, and visitors through great food, drinks, and service.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a valued member of our catering team, you’ll play an important part in keeping things running smoothly. Your key tasks will include:
Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, snacks, and light refreshments, all to Starbucks’ high standards.
Presenting food that looks as good as it tastes – always fresh, consistent, and appealing.
Keeping an eye on stock, recording supplies accurately, and helping to reduce waste.
Using kitchen equipment safely and confidently, following all health and safety guidelines.
Handling cash transactions carefully and in line with college policies.
Supporting the team with occasional events or special services outside of regular hours.
