Summary
Established in 2009, we are a busy metal fabrication & pipefitting company based in Bowerhill Ind Est, Melksham delivering high quality bespoke stainless steel fabrications and engineering solutions for a diverse range of long-standing loyal clients.
We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team carrying out varied work in our workshop and at local client sites.
Essential criteria:
4+ years experience TIG welding stainless steel and various other metals – 1.5mm upwards
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Knowledge of and respect for current Health & Safety requirements.
Experienced in the operation of press brake, guillotine, rolls and bandsaw.
Strong understanding of the day-to-day operations of an engineering/ fabrication workshop.
Must be professional, have an eye for detail & be a team player.
Desirable criteria:
Previously worked within a food/dairy manufacturing environment.
Experience in sheet metal work.
Understanding of mechanical systems.
Currently or previously a coded welder.
Familiar with Permit to Work documentation.
