The successful applicant will enjoy supporting and enhancing the smooth running of our church and the work it does in the community.Key Responsibilities:Maintain computer and hard copy filing systems to a high standardArrange regular servicing of equipmentMaintain Corps and Community accounts, including dealing with petty cashBe a key holder and maintain the key holder listCoordinate the Volunteer Receptionist rotaCheck stock to determine inventory levels, anticipate needs and place ordersAssist with the organisation, administration and publicising of eventsDeal with routine correspondenceTake and produce accurate minutes of meetingsAssist with Disclosure (DBS) and Volunteer application processesThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:Previous experience of working successfully in a similar administrative roleStrong written and verbal communication skillsGood interpersonal skillsAbility to use own initiative, plan, organise and prioritise tasks effectivelyAwareness of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements e.g. health and safety, data protection, safeguarding, equality and diversityRelevant experience of using Microsoft Office Packages: Word, Excel, Outlook & TeamsIn order to complete your application please download and read the job profile and any other attachments.In the job profile you will find the criteria required for the role please make sure that you address this in your supporting statement as this forms the basis of our shortlisting.Appointment subject to satisfactory references, proof of right to work in the UK.
