Summary

We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Team Leader to join our homelessness and complex needs team in Hackney.

£34,000 per annum, working 40 hours per week.

All applicants must be legally eligible to work in the UK by the start of employment as Look Ahead are not able to offer sponsorship. FTC until end of March 2026 with a possibility of role continuing (32 hours per week) from 2026.

What you'll do:
East London Apartments implements and promotes the Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) model.
This is an approach to supporting people out of homelessness, in particular those who have experienced
complex trauma or are diagnosed with a personality disorder.
You will also be involved in the day-to-day management of the service, including line managing the relevant
front-line staff. You will carry out supervisions, case work management and work with the team to achieve
service objectives.You will be required to work some weekends and Bank Holidays when necessary.
This is not an exhaustive list of all the duties and responsibilities that may be required from time to time and is subject to change in accordance with the needs of Look Ahead.

About you:
· Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers, neighbours and the wider community.
· Investigating neighbourhood complaints thoroughly and providing timely responses and resolutions.
· Identifying and addressing any trends in ASB and developing plans for improvement.
· Delivering effective supervision and case work management with relevant staff.
· Being responsible for the personal development of staff, identifying high performers and feeding into the organisation's succession plans
· Ensuring that Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) required as part of the Contract are met and recorded correctly

· Directing others, is assertive and independent minded, will challenge others, and skilled in resolving conflict
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
· NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant area (e.g. substance misuse, addiction, psychology, Health and Social Care,).
· Experience building and developing strong professional partnerships with external providers
·2 years' experience in complex needs services, community development, addiction counselling,drug and alcohol work.
