Closing date: Friday 10th October 2025 at 12:00 Interview Date: Thursday 16th October 2025 Job Start Date: Monday 3rd November 2025 Contract/Hours: Fixed Term Contract, full-time Salary Type: Support Staff Salary Details: Support Staff Pay Grade B1, £24,796 FTE, £18,373.20 actual Hours of Work: Full time – 31.25 hour per week - 40 weeks per year term time only including INSETS days (45.62 paid weeks a year). Location of Role: Grayshott CE Primary School Job/Person Summary Grayshott CE Primary School is looking to appoint an energetic, caring and enthusiastic 1-1 Learning Support Assistant to join our passionate and dedicated team to provide support a child with an education health care plan. It is a Fixed Term post subject to receiving funding from local authority and is dependent upon the child being at Grayshott CE Primary School. The role would entail: • Supporting the child on a 1-1 level • Providing guidance to develop in all areas and working on the targets in their Education Health Care Plan • Feedback to the Teacher and support any assessment • To support the child’s personal care needs • Help child to follow daily timetable of activities and support regular activity breaks. The person we are looking for will: • Have relevant NVQ qualification Level 3 • GCSE or equivalent Grade C or above in Maths and English • Be calm, patient and keen to learn • Have some experience working with children with Special Needs • Have high expectations • Demonstrate good communication skills • Be committed to working as part of a team. • Be a good timekeeper • Ensure the safety and welfare of children at all times.
