The St Illtyd’s High School Catholic Cluster are looking for a skilled and compassionate Family Engagement Officer to join our cluster of five Catholic schools in East Cardiff. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families in some of the city’s most vibrant and diverse communities.

• Support early years development, school readiness, and the home learning environment
• Deliver family workshops, playgroups, coffee mornings, and drop-in sessions
• Work with school staff and external services to reduce barriers and strengthen community links
• Help foster inclusion, community cohesion, and anti-racist attitudes through relationship-based work
• Be part of a values-led team committed to Catholic social teaching, equity, and compassion — helping parents feel welcomed, empowered, and connected to their school community.
We can offer:
• A supportive and inclusive working environment across five values-led Catholic schools
• Regular opportunities for high-quality professional learning and collaboration across the cluster
• A shared commitment to staff wellbeing, development, and relational practice
