Summary

Retail Marketing Executive, Jollyes Pets - based Middlewich (hybrid) 2 days/wk office based and willing to travel to visit stores. Salary £30-33 k p.a. + many benefits, 12m fixed term contract.
Play a pivotal role in the Marketing team in this newly created role, leading the execution of our extensive new store opening and refit programme across In-store, digital and ATL channels, whilst also helping to deliver our periodic promotions and corporate campaigns across Jollyes stores.

The Role – Retail Marketing Executive

This role is key to delivering our new store openings and refits across in-store, digital, and ATL channels, while also supporting periodic promotions and corporate campaigns across Jollyes stores.

Success will be measured by store launch KPIs (sales, footfall, profitability), timely and budgeted campaign delivery and campaign effectiveness

Key Responsibilities:


Lead planning and execution of marketing for new stores/refits, coordinating with internal teams and external partners
Oversee POS production and delivery, ensuring timely arrival
Brief and manage creative assets with the in-house studio
Set up and maintain digital presence (website, Google, Facebook) for new stores
Manage promotional POS and ensure accuracy and budget alignment
Maintain store opening times across digital platforms
Deliver wider campaigns (e.g. charity initiatives) and support local marketing
Contribute to broader business initiatives like concept stores
Conduct store visits to support launches


Contract & Working Pattern:


Full-time (37.5 hrs/week), 12-month fixed term contract
Hybrid working: 2 office days (Middlewich or Chester) + store visits




The Skills – Retail Marketing Executive

To be successful in this role, you’ll need the following skills, experience and qualities:

Experience of working within a similar fast paced ‘retail’ marketing department, working on POS briefing and production and working with 3rd party print providers
Understanding of planning a media campaign and developing plans for new stores, managing projects from briefing to implementation
Strong organisational, planning and priority skills
Effective interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively (in both oral and written form) with internal and external stakeholders​​​​​​​
Highly proficient in MS Office suite
Ability to build strong networks, work under pressure and drive change
Creative eye, with a flair for creating impactful campaigns
Analytical experience, reviewing results and making recommendations to changes
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Able to drive to visit new and existing stores and suppliers as required, therefore you would need a driving licence and your own transport (business travel expenses will be reimbursed).
