Summary


This is the perfect opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated person who has experience of working in a hospital, community or rehabilitation setting & wises to build on skills in the specialty of Community respiratory service. The role provides staff with the opportunity to work as part MDT who truly support each other & work together towards our vision 'Investing in our patient community, empowering them to live well'.

The community Respiratory service offers specialist outpatient clinics and domiciliary visits providing holistic assessment and treatment for patients with long term respiratory conditions. We are a team of specialist nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapist delivering a multidisciplinary input for comprehensive management of patients with long term respiratory conditions.

We work holistically, towards patient led goals utilising each other’s expertise to maximise our intervention. This is an ideal opportunity to work in a supportive environment within a team of experienced multidisciplinary professionals. As part of this role the post holder will be expected to work towards a set of clinical competencies with direct supervision, training and support. The Sutton Community respiratory service is a Multi disciplinary team working with adult population in the Sutton area of South West London who have chronic respiratory conditions. The post holder will be working as part of the MDT in offering structured pulmonary rehabilitation assessments and classes as per local and national guidelines and to undertake timely audit to benchmark the service quality and standards against national QI target. They will also support clinicians in facilitating day to day functioning of the service as required. For more information on this role please see the attached support information.
