Summary

Are you a committed and inspiring primary teacher looking to help children flourish? A friendly and forward-thinking primary school is seeking a dedicated KS1/KS2 Teacher to join their team and guide pupils through these key stages of their education. Beginning October 2025.

Duties as a KS1/2 Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for mixed abilities in line with the national curriculum.

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting to parents and senior leaders.

  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and learning.

  • Foster pupils’ confidence and enthusiasm through creative teaching and enrichment activities.

  • Collaborate with colleagues, teaching assistants and parents to ensure every child reaches their potential.

  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions and participate in whole-school initiatives.

Ideal KS1/2 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 curriculum.

  • Ability to motivate and inspire children of all abilities.

  • Excellent communication, organisational and classroom management skills as a KS1/2 Teacher.
