Head Chef
I have an opportunity for a Chef who is looking for their 1st Head Chef role at our client's destination pub, nestled between the charming Winchester and Fareham area. This is a unique opportunity to lead a talented team and elevate the food offering, showcasing your passion for creating modern twists on classic pub fare.
This is a Permanent role with a competitive package of £40K based OTE
Autonomy to develop and refine the menu, using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
Join a dynamic, newly formed senior management team and help shape the future of this thriving establishment
Ideal opportunity for a strong cdp or Sous looking for their 1st head chef role
Preferred Requirements:
Ideally you will have a proven track record of leading successful kitchen operations
Expertise in crafting delicious, innovative pub classics with a modern flair
Ability to manage and develop a talented team, fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen environment. Commitment to sourcing high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients and implementing sustainable practices
Strong financial acumen to manage budgets and ensure cost-effective operations
Preferred Qualifications:
Formal culinary training or a recognised chef's qualification
Experience working in a similar pub or restaurant environment, preferably in a senior role
Excellent communication and leadership skills to liaise with the wider management team
