More detail about the role Our Maternity Support Workers form an essential and well-respected part of our healthcare teams across a number of dynamic settings; out in the community, in our acute hospitals or within our ultrasound and antenatal clinics to name just a few. The team Part of this job role is to support to our Fetal Medicine doctors in their ultrasound clinics. This will incorporate providing appropriate care to birthing people when abnormalities have been found in their unborn babies, as we care for and support them through their high risk pregnancy, associated testing and often difficult decision making. More widely, as a Senior Maternity Support Worker you will work across the whole of Clinic 1 Outpatients, which incorporates our Fetal Maternal Assessment Unit, consultant led antenatal clinics and obstetric ultrasound. We care for our patients as outpatients between the hours of 08:00hrs and 18:00hrs Monday to Friday including some bank holidays.
