Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic new addition to our current grounds maintenance team. Experience in a similar sector is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided.

A 'DAY IN THE LIFE' of a CTC GROUNDS MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE
You will be asked to do things like:
- Strim the grass or cut the hedges at our cemetery
- Prepare plots for new tenants at an allotment site
- Drive across town to place agendas in our agenda boards
- Put up posters in our poster boards
- Wash a council vehicle
- Line-mark a football pitch
- Empty bins
- Check and maintain play equipment at one of our parks
- Do some minor maintenance or repair work to one of our buildings
- Plant up our flower beds across the town
- Meet a family and help with an interment of cremated remains at our cemetery
- Raise flags on our flagpoles to celebrate or mark special occasions
