We are looking for a Membership Development Support Officer to join our Advisory and Member Services team.We are Business in the Community (BITC), the UK’s largest and most influential responsible business network dedicated to building a fairer and greener world together. We inspire, engage, and challenge leaders to take practical action to mobilise their collective strength as a force for good in society. This role will support our Business Development team to win new members. This is a great development opportunity for a commercial thinker who is keen to get into responsible business and sustainability, as you will be working across all areas of the organisation, as well as externally with leading sustainable businesses. The successful candidate will be a highly proactive and organised individual with strong NEXUS skills, a can-do attitude and conviction that business is key to improving the state of the world.The successful candidate will demonstrate:Knowledge of the business development cycle, responsible business and the Sustainable Development Goals, with an understanding of why companies should behave responsiblyKnowledge of GDPR guidelinesDemonstrable experience of secondary research, business support and insight briefingExperience in managing CRM systems, pipeline management and performance reportingExcellent relationship management skillsExcellent organisation, planning and prioritisation skillsThe salary for this role is dependent on skills, experience and location.Closing date: 5th October at midnightBusiness in the Community are actively looking to recruit a diversity of talent.
