About the role:

We are looking for an Outreach Officer to join the Future U central team. Future U is part of the Lancashire Uni Connect programme, a collaborative widening participation programme funded by the Office for Students. The team is responsible for reducing the gap between those historically less likely to progress on to Level 4 study and their peers.

This role will work will work closely with our Senior Outreach Officers and other Outreach colleagues to deliver impartial and engaging outreach activities in schools and colleges across Lancashire. Future U has engaged over 50,000 Lancashire learners since our launch in 2017. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in making a real difference to the educational progression in Lancashire.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to positively impact the lives of others, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering a high-quality programme of tailored activities.

The role may involve some occasional evening and weekend working.

About you:

You’ll be able to develop and deliver activities and programmes to a wide range of audiences in schools, colleges and community settings and will have strong time management and organisation skills.

An undergraduate degree or equivalent experiential learning is essential.
