Summary
Job Opportunity: Production Manager - West Thurrock
Location: West Thurrock
Pay Rate: £21.63 per hour + Overtime of £32.45 (paid after 8 hours/day and Saturdays and £43.26 on Sundays)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 (occasional weekend work)
Type: Ongoing with potential for Temp-to-Perm
The Best Connection is currently seeking a Production Manager to join our client's busy and well-established operation in West Thurrock. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join a fast-paced environment, with the potential for long-term, permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily planning and review meetings
- Monitor and manage staff performance to ensure productivity targets are met
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures
- Handle basic HR-related matters and staff concerns
- Support and develop team performance and quality output
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing a medium to large production team
- Background in a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership skills - lead by example with excellent punctuality and attendance
- Approachable, fair, and supportive management style
- Hands on with your team, supporting with production
