Henstridge | £36,000 + Bonus | 6pm - 2:30am | Monday - Friday | Permanent Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Combi Operator/Loader to join a manufacturing facility based in Henstridge. The facility specialises in producing high-quality steel products for a variety of industries, and they are looking for a diligent individual to join their team.

Key Duties:
  • Pick and collate steel to order and prepare it for loading onto lorries.
  • Identify and locate different products.
  • Use measuring equipment to ensure that the correct quantities are picked and sorted for each order.
  • Replenish stock and keep track of inventory.
  • Batch and allocate steel, making sure that it is organised and ready for shipment.
Requirements:
  • Good eye for detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with heavy machinery.
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential.
  • Ideally, previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with different types of steel and their uses (training will be provided for the right candidate).
