Broxburn Academy is a six-year comprehensive school serving the areas of Broxburn, Uphall, Uphall Station, Pumpherston and Dechmont. We work closely with our cluster primaries which include Broxburn P.S, Kirkhill P.S, Uphall P.S, Pumpherston and Uphall Station Community P.S to ensure a consistent and holistic approach. Our current school roll is 823.


Broxburn Academy are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Administrative Officer to join the School Support Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, creative and passionate person to work with a busy office environment. You will support the Area Business Support Manager to ensure that the school operates in a efficient and efficient manner.


The working week will be Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am – 1.00pm


The skills and knowledge you must have:-



  • Experience of delivering a diverse, high quality administrative support function in a busy environment

  • Experience in either – Finance, HR, SQA or Team Management.

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Excellent Customer Service skills

  • Ability to work well in a pressurised environment

  • Highly IT literate and have sound knowledge of MS Office suite of products
