Summary
Trafford CAMHS are looking for an experienced and motivated registered professional to undertake the role of Team Leader providing additional capacity to our senior leadership team. You will possess excellent management skills with a desire to support and develop staff. Utilising strong communication skills and a flexible approach, you will ensure the service delivers positive experiences to patients at every stage of their time with us.
In joining Trafford CAMHS you will be part of a dedicated and enthusiastic team of professionals with a drive to provide an outstanding quality of care. You will manage and supervise clinical staff and work alongside the Senior Leadership Team within the service supporting servcie delivery and development. You are expected to have the necessary clinical skills and knowledge to complete CAMHS clinical and risk assessments where required. You will have experience in CAMHS frameworks and in providing evidence based interventions. You will deputise for the Service Manager as required. The post offers a great opportunity for those wishing to develop into senior management roles.
You will be a senior clinician within the team as well as providing a range of operational and line management roles and responsibilities such as:
• Supporting and enabling a team of CAMHS staff to effectively deliver their clinical work
• Perpetuating a positive team culture, good morale and staff well-being and role modelling Trust values
• Oversight of the teams performance & activity.
• Caseload oversight including focus on risk and safeguarding management
• Governance overview including oversight of continuous improvement, quality assurance initiatives and reflective practice.
• HR oversight including performance management and leading appraisals
• Quarterly review and update of job plans for staff.
• Contribute to the planning, development and delivery of service and quality improvements
• Clinically, hold a specific caseload in order to maintain registration and provide high level assessment and intervention in line with the expected level of experience and skill.
