Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Fire Stopper to join our team in the St Albans area. The successful Fire Stopper will be responsible for installing fire stopping / fire barriers / work in lofts As a Fire Stopper you will work closely with our project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure all fire stopping installations meet industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Must be FIRAS assessed
- Proven experience as a Fire Stopper or in a similar role within the construction or fire protection industry.
- In-depth knowledge of fire stopping products, materials, and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with local building codes, fire regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant certifications or training in fire stopping are highly desirable.
