Summary
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of care for women and their families as an autonomous practitioner. To facilitate the delivery of care to own defined group of women and to others. To assist in implementing individualised midwifery care.To provide midwifery advice to junior staff and to women and their families. To assist in setting, maintaining and improving the standards of midwifery care within the Trust. To provide and maintain high standards of midwifery practice in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) The code: Standards of conduct, performance and ethics for nurses and midwives (2015).
