Summary
Connect Appointments have exciting an exciting opportunity for Production Operatives in Newbridge! Working in our established client's premises, this position is for the next 2 weeks with the possibility of running longer for the right individuals.
What's on offer? Combined with full training and an immediate start available for the right applicant. You will benefit from a full-time permanent position, paid at £12.21 per hour.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm
As a Production Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring the production process
- Feeding the raw materials into the production machinery
- Performing quality assurance and testing checks
- Assembling, packing and labelling the finished goods in preparation for shipment
- Cleaning machinery and other parts of the production space
- Noting production machinery faults and reporting to Supervisors/Managers as required
- Input data into a computer system to record products
- Following health and safety standards
- General warehouse, production and labourer duties
To be successful in this production position, you will ideally have previous experience in a warehouse, production, manufacturing or other fast-paced environment, although full training is provided. Combined with the following traits:
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent team-working skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Great organisational and record-keeping skills
- The ability to work effectively under limited supervision
