Summary

As the NIHR INSIGHT South West Peninsula project officer, you will join an existing team to contribute to the National Institute of Health and Care Research's exciting initiative to inspire student and early career health and care professionals into research careers.

In addition to administrative and compliance work we require a project officer who has the ability and enthusiasm to organize events, including the scheduling of speakers, venues and refreshments and to assist our events team with marketing and ticketing of engagement activities (including workshops, webinars, taster days and lab visits).

For this role, you will need to be on site 2 days a week. Although we can accommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.

This is a part-time position working 22.2 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2027 due to funding.

For an informal discussion to find out more about the role then please contact Dr Lisa Bunn: by email at nihrinsight-swpeninsula@plymouth.ac.uk
