Summary

Ingredient Technologist – 12 month FTC
£35,000 – £45,000
Hertfordshire

My client is looking for an experienced Ingredient Technologist to support their growing business over the next 12 months, covering maternity leave. My client likes individuals who are driven, with strong communication and analytical skills.

They need someone who can start ASAP, latest by the beginning of November 2025 so if you’re on a 3-month notice period it wouldn’t work I’m afraid.

This is a hybrid role – 3 days on site at the Head Office, 2 days working from home, with a monthly trip to the factory and once every other month a visit to a supplier for auditing purposes.

Salary £35,000 – £45,000 with lots of lovely benefits

Person spec

2-3 years of experience in a quality assurance/technical manager position within the food industry.
Desirable – knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements within the UK/EU/US but this isn’t essential.
Strong organisational, project management, and delegation skills

The interview process will be two stages.

This role offers broad exposure to different products, allergens, and processes, with opportunities to collaborate cross-functionally and gain both HQ and manufacturing experience, so if you are an experienced quality candidate with 2-3 years of experience and available in the next month, get in touch.
