Summary
Care Team Leader – Residential Home
Hours: Flexible rota, including early, late, weekend, and bank holiday shifts
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Care Team Leader to join our dedicated team in a residential home setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care for individuals living with Dementia while leading and supporting a team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Shift Pattern
Flexible 4-week rota provided in advance (shifts may vary week to week)
Alternate weekends required
Shift times:
Early: 07:15 – 15:15
Late: 13:45 – 21:45
Includes bank holiday working
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise care staff during shifts as the senior in charge
Administer medication safely in line with company policies and procedures
Update and review residents’ care plans to maintain person-centred care
Liaise with healthcare professionals to support residents’ health and well-being
Support with daily care routines and encourage a positive, supportive environment
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
Requirements
Essential: Experience working with individuals living with Dementia
Essential: Previous experience supervising staff and leading a shift
Essential: Medication administration experience
Essential: Valid Emergency First Aid at Work certificate
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high standards of care
