What You’ll Be DoingAs a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with diverse learning needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing 1:1 and small group support to help children access the curriculum

Adapting activities and learning resources in collaboration with class teachers and the SENCO
-
Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils to support both learning and emotional wellbeing

Tracking pupil progress and assisting in planning targeted interventions

Promoting independence, self-confidence, and a love for learning
Who This Role is Perfect ForThis role would suit someone who:

Holds a 2:1 degree or above in Psychology, Education, English, Maths, or a related subject

Is genuinely passionate about helping children with additional needs

Has a calm, patient, and empathetic approach

Communicates effectively and works well in a team

May have experience working with children or young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or volunteering)
