Summary

Job Title: Cleaning Operative (Part-Time, 20-25 Hours per Week)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Location: Huyton (Servicing Liverpool & Surrounding)
Salary: £12.40 to £21 per hour (Varies dependent on type of clean)
Reports to: Cleaning Supervisor / Operations Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves completing a range of cleaning tasks including deep cleans, regular maintenance cleans, and biohazard cleaning in accordance with established health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform high-standard deep cleans in commercial & residential settings
-Carry out scheduled routine maintenance cleaning duties, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene across assigned areas.
-Safely handle and clean biohazard materials following strict procedures and PPE guidelines.
-Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management of any repairs or replacements needed.
-Accurately complete checklists and cleaning logs as required.
-Comply with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and infection control protocols.
-Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report issues or complete handovers.

Requirements:

-Ability to work independently and take initiative.
-Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
-Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
-Must be physically fit and able to lift, bend, and be on your feet for extended periods.
-Willingness to undergo necessary training, including biohazard and infection control procedures.
-Enhanced DBS check may be required depending on work location.
-MUST HAVE access to your own vehicle
