Summary

Meetings & Events Office Manager

Become the Meetings & Events Office Manager at a stunning 4-star Hotel nestled in the heart of the New Forest. In this exciting and varied role, you will lead and support the sales, organisation, and delivery of the hotel's meetings, groups, private dining, and weddings business. Working alongside a dedicated Weddings & Events Manager, Office Co-ordinators, and a newly appointed Director of Sales, you will ensure that every enquiry is converted into confirmed business, and that the operational teams are well-prepared and ready to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests. Preferred Requirements:
Extensive experience in meetings and events management, with a strong understanding of the hospitality industry. Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask and juggle numerous deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence others and drive standards across the hotel. Proficient in using the Opera property management system. Flexible and able to work well under pressure, with a keen desire to learn and develop

Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar food and beverage, wedding, or events role. Proven track record of managing, working with, and influencing others
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to proactively work towards achieving the company's financial targets.

The Package and opportunities:
On Target Earnings of £34,000 to £36,000 upwards
40 hours per week over 5 days, and typically Monday to Friday.
Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for special events or holiday cover.
