Summary
Co-ordinate, organise and prioritise the work of the nursing team on a day-to-day basis. Maintain effective and efficient communication with the Ward/Unit Manager and members of the multi-disciplinary team on issues related to patient care and organisation of nursing teams Responsible for maintaining up-to-date skills, knowledge and competence and awareness of professional issues. Continually monitor standards of nursing care and contribute to improvement of care through benchmarking, audit and research.
