Summary
Gloucestershire Professional Services (GPS) is recruiting a Trainee Careers Advisor to join the Careers team at Gloucestershire College. We’re looking for someone with experience working with SEND and disadvantaged students, who can provide tailored careers advice and guidance to learners with EHCPs and those from disadvantaged backgrounds. As part of our skilled and supportive team, you’ll deliver one-to-one guidance interviews, manage referrals, and support UCAS applications, helping students achieve positive outcomes.
This role also involves contributing to projects that focus on progression, careers, and raising aspirations through outreach activities. You’ll help develop resources, work closely with academic and support teams, and ensure students are well prepared for their next steps. At Gloucestershire College, we believe our people are our greatest asset—offering more than just a job, but a chance to make a real difference in the lives of our learners.
Please note, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
