Summary

We're looking for an Electrician to join our Highways team based in Stanford Depot, Kent.

Location: Stanford Depot - Site based 5 days per week

Hours: Permanent Fulltime 40 hours per week

Salary: £41,000 to £43,000 per year + benefits

What will you be responsible for?

As an Electrician, you'll carry out routine preventative and reactive maintenance on streetlighting assets, on the Area 4 M&R contract.

Your day to day will include:

-Carrying out maintenance and construction works in accordance with the contract

-Ensure work is carried out in compliance with the relevant Quality Plans, Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Inspection and Test Plans

-Assisting with site inductions and ensuring compliance with site rules

-Carry out periodic testing and new installation testing

-Carry out repairs to electrical equipment and its supplies



What are we looking for?

This role of Electrician is great if you have:

-City and Guilds NVQ level 3 Electrical Installation and City and Guilds 2391 Test and Inspect

-18th Edition wiring regulations

-Experience in the maintenance of Streetlighting operations
