Join us as a Regulatory Reporting Developments Manager
- This is a unique opportunity to join the Regulatory & Risk Reporting & Control team which has a significant focus across the bank
- You’ll be working on a specific project to ensure that the impacted regulatory and risk reporting outcomes can be reported in an accurate and controlled manner
- We’ll look to you to support our control framework, making sure that new reporting developments are appropriately validated, tested and embedded into day-to-day work
- This role is being funded to support project work until June 2026, and is available for up to seven months
What you'll do
In this critical role, you’ll be supporting the end-to-end project management of regulatory reporting changes and changes made to the regulatory and risk platforms. This will include reviewing and challenging the requirements and design and assessing the impacts on the business and user acceptance testing (UAT). You’ll maintain a strong customer focus, taking responsibility for the project engagement and the testing of changes applied to the regulatory and risk platforms.
Throughout the course of your work, you’ll complete projects in a timely manner to make sure that deadlines are met and projects are delivered in line with stakeholders' expectations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Specifying and creating project planning, analysis and UAT in support of changes to the regulatory and risk platforms, delivering solutions in AWS and other future-focused tools
- Engaging with customers and stakeholders, both inside and outside of Finance, to correctly investigate and communicate any changes to the regulatory and risk platforms
- Managing issues or defect management and remediation
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with analytical skills and a good understanding of relevant risk policies, and external regulatory and risk reporting requirements. You’ll need to have experience in the financial services or banking industry, coupled with a broad understanding of retail and wholesale banking products.
It’s also crucial for you to have the ability to connect across multiple levels of stakeholders, build and maintain strong relationships and have good communication skills.
We’ll also expect you to demonstrate:
- Experience of using some of the key regulatory and risk reporting systems such as SAS, AWS or Tableau
- An understanding of project life cycles
- Experience of being adaptable and responsive to the changing needs of customers, sponsors and stakeholders and in resolving customer queries
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage large quantities of complex quantitative and qualitative information
- The ability to understand and analyse complex problems, formulate practical solutions and track them to resolution
